What if I change my mind after I upgrade - will I still be charged?

Our products are offered as a monthly and annual subscription service that you can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time. If you cancel, you'll no longer be billed and your subscription will remain active until the end of the billing cycle.

I purchased Gold Plan for 27 $ for Mobile App. Is it price for month or year?
I am feeling some confusion because you write:
"Your account will be charged $25.00 on January 14, 2014."
But:
Your billing rate will be $25.00 a month. Your first payment term will be billed on January 14, 2014.
Is it $25.00 a price for year subscription or this is a huge amount of 12x25$=300$ for year???
